RESOLUTION NO. 87-53-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ESTABLISHING A
JOINT CITY/BOROUGH FISCAL YEAR OF 1989 CAPITAL PROJECT PRIORITY LIST.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City of Kodiak's capital
improvement priorities by Resolution No. 33-87 on September 24, 1987, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly adopted the Kodiak Island Borough's
capital improvement priorities by Resolution Number 87-52-R October 1, 1986,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
held a joint worksession on September 8, 1987, to discuss capital improvement
priorities and develop a merged Fist to present to the Fifteenth Alaska
Legislature for funding consideration.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly)
in conjunction with the Council of the City of Kodiak, Alaska the following
priorities are hereby adopted for fiscal year 1989 capital improvement
projects:
1. Near Island Development
a. Fishery Industrial Technology Center S 7,500,000
b. Sl. Herman Bay Permanent Breakwater 2,000,000
2. Hospital Construction 14,000,000
3. Pillar Mountain A&E/Extension Piers II 6 III/
Permanent Breakwater Material 2,600,000
4. Mill Bay Road Reconstruction A&E 2,600,000
5. Solid Waste Disposal 11500,000
6. Water System Filtration Plant A&E 450,000
