A RESOL171TON OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROMH ASSEMBLY DELINEATING
CERTAIN DETAIL OF PAST BUDGETED ITEMS TO SATISFY THE INTENT AND RATIFY CERTAIN
!ACODIIIQ = ACTS WTIH CLARITY.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Capital Projects supplemental
appropriations have, in some cases in the past, not delineated the detail
intent by project level, and
WHEREAS, the legal binding appropriation level is project level; and
WHEREAS, it was and is the intent of the Kodiak Island Borough
to move residual balances of capital projects to other projects; and
WHEREAS, certain other its as enumerated below also need further
I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the staff is authorized and
directed to effect the following changes. These changes will be entered upon
the books of the Kodiak Island Borough (if not already there) and/or will be an
,explicit expression of the intent of the Assembly so that items of the Kodiak
Island Borough books and the financial statements of June 30, 1987 will be in
complete agreement.
1. The residual balance of project 047-194, Area Wide Road
Development, will be transferred to Project 047-257, Lilly
Drive II/Woody Way. The amount of this transfer is
$49,233.00.
2. The residual balance of Project 047-266, Antone, Balika,
and Melnitsa, will be transferred to Project 047-257,
Lilly Drive II/ Woody Way. The amount of this transfer
is $129,633.00.
3, To appropriate $35,000.00 to Project 047-203, East
Elementary Ballfield per minutes of the August 7, 1987
regular Assembly meeting to be funded from interest
earnings of Fund 47.
4. To approve transfer of $44,000.00 from Project 045-209,
Undesignated Projects, to Project 045-249, School
Maintenance Shop.
5. To approve transfer of $450,210.00 from Project 045-249,
School Maintenance Shop, to Project 045-245, Kodiak High
School Auditorium.
6. To approve appropriation of $350,000.00 for Project 047-255,
Beaver Lake Drive. The funds for this project are from
the Kodiak Housing Authority. Beaver IakeDrive is part
of the Lakeside Subdivision InVrovemen
