1987-12 State Funding for Public Radio_ KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 81-12-R A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ENDORSING CONTINUED STATE FUNDING FOR PUBLIC RADIO AND PUBLIC RADIO STATION KMXT. WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Alaska has recommended no funding for public broadcasting in the state in fiscal year 1988, and WHEREAS, public broadcasting radio stations are an important par: of the communications system throughout rural Alaska, often sere ung as the only local source of information. and WHEREAS, the radio station KMXT has been in service to the Kodiak community for the past eleven years, and WHEREAS.
