RESOLUTION NO. 89-54-R
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A THREE YEAR LEASE OF THE CHINIAK
LIBRARY BUILDING TO THE CHINIAK LIBRARY ASSOCIATION
'! WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of the Old
�i Chiniak Library Building located on Tract E, Chiniak Subdivision; and
' WHEREAS, the Chiniak Public Library Association has leased the
premises since 1984 for use as the Chiniak Library; and
WHEREAS, the present lease of the structure has expired; and
WHEREAS, the Chiniak Public Library Association has requested an
extension to the lease;
ii NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly authorizes a three (3)- year lease of the old Chiniak school
to the Chiniak Public Library Association under the same conditions as the
