RESOLUTION NO. 66-26-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING
SING OF THE OFFICE SPACE IN THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of Lots S and 7 of
S. Survey 2636A and all improvements thereon; and
WHEREAS, the main building, a former dormitory, has been converted to
a office building of which approximately 77 percent is used for office space -
nd the remaining apse* Is common area; and
WHEREAS, the property dead contains a restrictive clause limiting the
se to school and other purposes only; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly desires to manage the
roperty as ■ self-sustaining enterprise and to most this goal it is advantag-
bus to provide full occupancy by renting the available apse* to qualified
ccupants, giving first priority to school and borough use.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
hat the Borough Mayor is authorized to negotiate 100600 with the following
overnmental and qualifying non-profit corporations at a cost of 61.00 per
quare foot;

Space 02 Kodiak Island Borough - 10,091 square feat
Space 03 City of Kodiak - 3.696 square feet
Space 61 KMKT Radio Station - 1,113 square feat

Space 06 Legislative Affairs - 962 square feat
Space 01 State of Alaska C&RA - 236 square f -eel
Specs 03 Amorrican Red Cross - 100 square feet
