RESOLUTION NO. BS-OZ-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY APPOINTING AN
AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO INSPECT, SECURE AND SIGN FOR SURPLUS FEDERAL
PROPERTY FOR USE BY KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH.
WHEREAS, Kodiak Island Borough Assembly is the duly authorized
governing body of Kodiak Island Borough having examined the gentral terms and
conditions of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as
amended, Wherein such act authorizes the administrator of the General Services
Administration (GSA) to transfer surplus Personal Property for donation to
non-federal public agencies for their use, and

li WHEREAS, guidelines for the Federal Surplus Personal Property
Donation Program requires the designation of an authorized representative of

! the Kodiak Island Borough for the purposes of inspecting, securing and signing
-! for surplus property for use by Kodiak Island Soroughi and
. WHEREAS, said designated representative is empowered to delegate the
authority authorized to him to such personnel as he considers reasonable and
necessary to accomplish these purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly does hereby designate Jerome M. Selby, Borough Mayor, the represents-
ties of the Borough for the purpose of inspecting, securing and signing for
surplus federal Property including the execution of such documentation As may
i� be tsquired to accomplish same in the interest of the Borough.
