RESOLUTION NO. 86-71-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 16 WITH URS
COMPANY FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN
SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough by Resolution No. 82-13-R approved a
contract with URS Company for design of water and sewer improvements in Service
District No. 1, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, by Resolutions No. 83-57-R and 84-51-R,
bas accepted grants for the construction of additional projects, some of which have not
yet been designed, and
WHEREAS, the Service District No. 1
Advisory Board. on August 4, 1986, set its
Priorities for future projects, and directed staff to have URS Company submit a
Proposal for the design of the utility system to serve Kadiak Alaska Subdivision, First
Addition, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough desires to have URS Company continue
with the design of Service District No. 1 water and sewer improvement projects through
the contract plans and specifications phase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that Amendment No. 16 providing for design services by URS Company is approved with
cost and fixed fee as follows:
Amendment No. 16 - Kadiak Alaska Subdivision, First Addition,
Project No. 86-1:
Cost $74.092
Fixed Fee 9.765
Total $83.857
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above expenditure is hereby authorized
from funds received for the Service District Water and Sewer projects and that the
Borough Mayor is hereby authorized and instructed to execute the appropriate documents.
