RESOLUTION NO. 86-41-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH URS ENGINEERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATER, SEWER, AND STORM DRAINAGE
FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the Service District No. I Advisory Board has requested that the
Borough develop standard specifications for water, sewer, and storm drainage; and
WHEREAS, such standard specifications would be a valuable aid in administering
the development of new subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, URS Engineers has submitted a proposal to develop said standard
specifications for a fee not to exceed $25,000.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with URS Engineers for the
development of standard specifications for water; sewer, and storm drainage facilities
for a fee not to exceed $25,000, with funds to be taken from the Contracted Services
line item of the Engineering Department budget.
