A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
CONSTRUCTION OF A HELIPORT IN THE VICINITY OF SPRUCE CAPE
;TO SUBMIT A GRANT REQUEST FOR FEDERAL SUPPORTING THE
ASSISTANCE IN THE AND DIRECTING STAFF
AMOUNT OF $430,000,
WHEREAS, The Borough Assembly
construction recognizes the urgent need for
of a Heliport at Spruce Cape, and
WHEREAS, The Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission
,granted a conditional use permit for a helicopter landing pad located at L
�' 29, USS 3099, 2850 of
Spruce Cape Road at the request of the Borough Assembly,
and
WHEREAS, the FAA has completed an aeronautical stud
heliport site Y of the proposed

and granted conditional approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
to support the construction of a heliport in the vicinity of Spruce Cape,and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff submit a grant request for
,Federal Assistance in the amount of $430,000.
