RESOLUTION 85-95-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AWARDING THE
CODIAK HIGH SCHOOL ASBESTOS ABATEMENT/SYSTEM UPGRADE PROJECT DESIGN CONTRACT TO
CHE PICKERING FIRM.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough properly and legally solicited
>roposals for professional Architectural and Engineering services for design
and construction services for the Kodiak High School Asbestos Abatement/System
Jpgrade Project, and
WHEREAS, proposals were received, evaluated, and firms ranked in the
following prioritized order by the Architectural Review Board:
1. The Pickering Firm
2. Sundberg and Associates
3. The Little Susitna Company
and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough School Board has reviewed and
ranked the firms in the same prioritized order, and
WHEREAS, Staff has properly negotiated the scope of work and costs
associated with the design and construction services for the Kodiak Island
School Asbestos Abatement/System Upgrade Project with The Pickering Firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the design contract for the Kodiak High School Asbestos Abatement/System
Upgrade Project be awarded to The Pickering Firm in an amount not be exceed
1$166,700.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of October , 1985 by the
Island Borough Assembly.
