A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY APPROVING THE
KODIAK ISLAND HOSPITAL CERTIFICATE OF NEED (CON) APPLICATION AND DIRECTING
STAFF TO SUBMIT THE CON TO THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Design of the new Hospital facility is funded and design iso
in progress, and
WHEREAS, Health Resource Services Group in conjunction with Mills,!
John and Rigdon Architects, A.I.A. have developed the Certificate of Needl
application with Borough Staff and Lutheran Hospital and Homes Society, l
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly[
to approve the Certificate of Need application as prepared by Health Resource
Services Group and Mills, John and Rigdon, Architects, A.I.A. dated October 1,
1985, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff submit the Certificate of Need'.
application to the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of October, 1985 by the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly.
