RESOLUTION NO. 85-71-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING
STAFF TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH URS CORPORATION FOR DESIGN OF THE SCHOOL
CROSSING SIGNALS.
WHEREAS, DRS Corporation has tendered a proposal dated June 24,
1985 to provide disign services for the School Crossing Signals Project for
$24,600, and
WHEREAS, The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly is concerned with
installing adequate school crossing signals due to unsafe motorist/
pedestrian interference at school crossings, and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the design contract for the school crossing signals be awarded to URS
Corporation in an amount not to exceed $24,600.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of July 1985
by the Borough Assembly.
