1985-41 Authorizing Transfer of Certain Funds Within the KIB Budget.L
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 85-41-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZI
R OF CERTAIN FUNDS WITHIN THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the disk storage space on the IBM System 38 is curr
re than 80 percent utilized, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough School District has just purchased
software programs for a student administration system, student attendance
stems, warehouse management system and fixed assets inventory system, and
WHEREAS, these new systems will need storage and program work space
the disk storage equipment, and
WHEREAS, the IBM personnel and the software support personnel have
ised the Kodiak Island Borough that the remainin storage space is inadequ
store data and work the new systems in additio to the existing used
grams, and
WHEREAS, using 100 percent of the disk capacity will shut down any
grams in use at the time the 100 percent; 'is reached, and
WHEREAS, funds are available to,purchase the additional disk drive
acity at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
t staff is hereby authorized and/directed to effect the necessary changes to
ke $22,610 for installation of a 3370-B12 Disk available from the Borough
Building Roof funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized and directed to
effect the necessary line item changes within the limits established above by
project to properly monitor, account and report for the expenditure of these
funds.
