RESOLUTION NO. 85-40-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING
STAFF TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH SOLID WASTE
DISPOSAL FACILITY DESIGN CONTRACT WITH ARCTIC ENGINEERS, INC. IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $9,074.50.
WHEREAS, Arctic Engineers, Incorporated have recommended further
soils testing in the Vista View and Salonie Creek areas to better define
quantities of borrow materials, and
WHEREAS, the required soils testing is beyond the original scope
of work under contract with Arctic Engineers Incorporated, and
WHEREAS, The Kodiak Island Borough will benefit from further soils
studies by minimizing environmental impact and quantifying materials for
covering the existing landfill,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that staff execute an amendment to the Kodiak Island Borough Solid Waste
Disposal Facility Design contract with Arctic Engineers, Incorporated for
soils testing in the Vista View and Salonie Creek areas in an amount not to
exceed $9,074.50.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of ADH I 1985 by the
Kodiak Island Borough Assembly.
