RESOLUTION N0, 85-17-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING STAFF
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ARCTIC SLOPE CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR DESIGN OF THE
KARLUK ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Arctic Slope Consulting Engineers have tendered a proposal
dated January 22, 1985 to provide design services for the Karluk Electrifica-
tion Project for $16,700, and
WHEREAS, the legislative funding for the Project is significantly
lower than the original cost estimate, and
WHEREAS, Arctic Slope Consulting Engineers have previously provided
design services for the Karluk IRA Tribal Council for the Karluk Central Power
Generation and Distribution Plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the design contract for the Karluk Electrification Project be awarded to
Arctic Slope Consulting Engineers in an amount not to exceed $16,700.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of February , 1985 by the
Kodiak Island Borough Assembly.
