A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ENDORSING THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OF COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has seven communities within its
boundaries, and
WHEREAS, each of those communities has adopted a separate Capital
Improvement Projects which is incorporated with the Kodiak Island Borough
Five -Year CIP Plan list requesting FY 86 appropriations, and.
WHEREAS, ranking these projects into one prioriO list for the Kodiak
Island Borough is a difficult task which creates some inequities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembl
endorses the following projects for FY 86 CIP funding:
Community Project Funding
Akhiok Enlarge Village Water Supply Dam $ 180,000
Karluk Public Safety Building 120,000
Kodiak St. Herman Harbor Breakwater 26,260,000
Larsen Bay Small Boat Harbor 4,100,000

Old Harbor Airstrip Relocation 3,000,000
Ouzinkie Breakwater/Small Boat fjarbor 7,500,000
Port Lions Bayview Drive Phase 1/I/I 400,000
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
endorses the additional CIP projects on each community list and the other KIB
agencies lists as indicatedop the attached 5 -year CIP plan for funding for
FY 86.
