REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

Call to Order: 5:30
Commissioners Present: Billy Ecret-vice chair, Greg Egle-Chair, Dave Heuman-Secretary, Jon
Melin, Blake Strain and Bill Roberts. One vacant position. Dave Conrad, WBVFD Chief.
Diane Cooney, Resident
Approval of amended agenda by unanimous vote.
Approval of minutes by unanimous vote for:
1. Regular Meeting of January 9, 2026.
Citizen's Comments:
Diane Cooney; Drainage alongside Pit 2, Paving question, Pothole repair during winter
Dave Conrad; Width of roads, need to be plowed wider, leaving berms on driveways
Contractor Comments: None
1. January work was snow and ice control, 28k invoice for the month
Chairman's Report:
1. Work Orders; Culvert outfall at Lk Orbin Dr pending weather
2. Budget updates
a) FD; 21% spent of budget to date, 63% recv.
b) RS; 29% spent of budget to date, 113% recv_
3. Correspondence; none
Old Business:
1. Fire Dept
a) Garage door opener replacement; Motion passed unanimous repairs NTE 50k
b) Stipends need more research for policy, Board heartily recommends.
c) . AED update; have replaced 2 so far, will replace 1 more this year, will replace 1 each
the next 2 years. NTE 5k ea.
d) Motion passed unanimously to purchase Blower w/ battery & ac power. NTE 7.5k
e) Hurst Technician scheduled to assess/certify hydraulic rescue tools
f) Motion passed unanimously to install new Air Hose Reel, NTE 7.5k
2. Road Service; none
New Business:
1. Fire Dept;
a) Will include gutters in firehall budget next year
b) Will include asphalt for N end adjacent parking in Firehall budget next year
c) Tender 22 Engine light alerts, will pursue mechanic options
d) Dept of Forestry Operation Plan, Conrad to develop grant proposal, Motion passed
unanimously
2. Road Service
a) Budget work session planned for Feb 17 @ 5:30 pm
b) Budget Public Hearing and Regular Meeting Planned for March 3 @ 5:30
c) Asphalt repaving should be resubmitted for the KIB CIP list.

BE; Asphalt breaking numerous places as freeze thaw cycles.
