REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
Date: Tuesday, December 9, 2025
Call to Order: 5:30
Commissioners Present: Billy Ecret-vice chair, Greg Egle-Chair, Dave Heuman-Secretary, Jon
Melin and Bill Roberts. Two vacant positions.
Dave Conrad, Fire Chief.
Also in Attendance: Blake Strain, resident.
Approval of amended agenda by unanimous vote.
Approval of minutes by unanimous vote for:
1. Regular Meeting of November 4, 2025.
Citizen's Comments: Blake Strain introduced himself to the board, he has applied for one of
the board vacancies with the KIB Clerk.
Contractor Comments:
2. None present this meeting.
Chairman's Report:
1. Work Orders; Culvert outfall at Lk Orbin Dr pending weather
2. Budget updates
a) FD; 21% of budget to date
b) RS; 12% of budget to date
3. Correspondence, none
Old Business:
1. Fire Dept
a) Garage door opener replacement; work order generated, NTE 75k
2. Road Service; none
New Business:
1. Fire Dept;
a) Battery Powered Blower fan purchase approved, NTE 7.5k
b) Side by Side would be appropriate for Wildland Fire response, research and funding
sources to be explored by DC.
c) Stipend for Volunteers discussed, for training and callouts. DC to pursue.
2. Road Service
a) Election of Officers; Current positions will continue.
b) Application from Blake Strain reviewed, will recommend for nomination to the Board.
Board Member Comments;
BE; Far end of Mid Bay Dr should get topping and regrading
Widgeon Circle is de -platted, needs to be removed from contract.
JM; Ugak Dr was skipped, needs grading next go round.
