AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ACCEPTING
AND ADOPTING THE COMPENSATION STUDY RECOMMENDED BY THE
PERSONNEL ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, t'1 e Kodiak Island Borough salary schedule had' not been
reviewed since adoption for 'Informal equity am,o'ng positions, at the Kodiak
Island Boriought and'
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has requested that
the Personnel Advisory Board provide an equitable miethod to asstign salary
ranges to Kodiak Island Borough pos,itionsf and
WHEREAS, the Compensation Study, adopted May 1S, 1989, by the
Personnel Advisory Board, establishes a methodology that enables equitable
distribution of salary ranges';
NOW., THEREFOREP, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodi'ak Island Borough
Assembly that:
Section I. This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature
and shall become a part of the Kodiak Islanrough Personnel Rules and
Regulations.
Section 2'. The following increases in placement siaIy ranges shall
take effect July '11, 11989-6
