10 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
11 CERTIFYING THE FY2011 SHARED FISHERIES BUSINESS TAX PROGRAM
12 APPLICATION TO BE TRUE AND CORRECT

14 WHEREAS, AS 29.60.450 requires that for a municipality to participate in the FY2011
15 Shared Fisheries Business Tax Program, the municipality must demonstrate to the
16 Department of Community and Economic Development that the municipality suffered
17 significant effects during calendar year 2009 from fisheries business activities; and
18 WHEREAS, the Department of Community and Economic Development has prepared
19 specific application forms for the purpose of presenting the municipality's claims as to
20 the significant effects suffered by the municipality during calendar year 2009; and
21 WHEREAS, 3AAC 134.100 requires the governing body of the municipality to include
22 with the municipality's FY2011 program application an approved resolution certifying
23 the information contained in the application to be true and correct;

25 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
26 BOROUGH that this resolution certifies that the information contained in the Kodiak
27 Island Borough FY2011 Shared Fisheries Business Tax Program Application to be true
28 and correct to the best of our knowledge.
