9 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
10 IDENTIFYING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF
11 THE ANTON LARSEN DOCK REPLACEMENT

13 WHEREAS, the replacement of the Anton Larsen clock is a project included in the Kodiak
14 Island Borough's Capital Improvement Program; and
15
16 WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is submitting a project nomination to the Denali
17 Commission Transportation Program seeking funding assistance for the planning and
18 design phase of the Anton Larsen dock replacement project; and
19
20 WHEREAS, the project nomination process requires a maintenance resolution identifying
21 the organization responsible for maintaining the completed project.

23 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
24 BOROUGH that the Kodiak Island Borough is identifying responsibility to provide
25 maintenance upon replacement of the Anton Larsen dock as long as it is owned by the
26 Kodiak Island Borough or for the duration of its useful life.
