10 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
11 APPROVING THE FORMATION OF A PROJECT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC)
12 TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CONFIRMING
13 THE MAYORAL APPOINTEES TO THIS COMMITTEE
14
15 WHEREAS, the Assembly has approved a contract with LSL Planning, Inc. to help the
16 Planning and Zoning Commission with the review, update, and rewrite of Title 16
17 Subdivisions, Title 17 Zoning and Title 18 Borough Real Property; and,
18
19 WHEREAS, the consultants have recommended that the Project Advisory Committee be
20 created to make recommendations to the Commission to provide greater linkage and
21 outreach within the community; and
22
23 WHEREAS, the composition of the advisory committee should include members from
24 significant segments of the community including the real estate, development,
25 environmental, recreational, tourist, native corporation, legislative, and others impacted by
26 or involved in the regulation of land uses and structures in the community; and
27
28 WHEREAS, this advisory committee will provide the Commission and Assembly with
29 recommendations on suggested changes to the Borough code;
30
31 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
32 BOROUGH that the formation of a Project Advisory Committee (PAC) is approved and that
33 the following Mayoral appointments to the Project Advisory Committee are confirmed:
