1. Discussion on Karluk Lake salmon rehab. White asked if the borough
would be willing to purchase $30,000 of fertilizer from $500,000 -
$800,000 it receives for annual raw fish tax. SE fishermen purchase
fertilizer annually for state to distribute.
2. Steve Boweley addressed the assembly regarding federally funded
Tsunami insurance. Mayor to look into this and also ISO ratings for
service districts and report back to assembly.
3. Draft ordinances for Rules Assembly and Elections were reviewed.

1. Gordon Pullar, KANA President, and Willie Wolf, KANA Health Director,
addressed the assembly regarding KANA's proposal to contract with the
state for itinerant health care for native and non - native village
residents. The assembly was given a copy of the overview of the full
proposal presented to Commissioner of BM. Mr. Pullar noted that KANA
could operate the program more efficiently, would coordinate PAS and
public health nurses, and have a better health education program. He
also noted that this must be reviewed by KIB due to voter approved
health power. They are not looking at pursuing family and youth
services this year. The proposal is to be reviewed at the January 9
work session.
2. The management letter and annual audit were reviewed by the assembly
with Bryce Weeks present to answer questions.
