06/26/03 SMA special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly was
held June 26, 2003 in the Kodiak Island Borough Conference
Room at 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was called to order
at 8:41 p.m.

Administrative Official Cassidy said this was advertised and
three companies responded. The Service Area Board approved
T.C. Enterprises as their response contractor.

Enterprises of Kodiak,
Alaska for equipment, time,

submitted in their bid
package.
Administrative Official Cassidy said this was advertised and
Brechan Enterprises was the only bidder. This was the
second year that Brechan bid the work with rates remaining
basically the same as the previous year.

C. Contract No. 2003 -22 Main Elementary School Exterior
Painting Project.
RAZO, moved to award Contract
seconded by ABELL No. 2003 -22 to C&M
Enterprises of Kodiak,
Alaska in an amount not to
exceed $40,000.
Administrative Official Cassidy said this was advertised and
of the two bids received, C &M Enterprises was the low bidder
at $34,100. C&M Enterprises painted East Elementary School
and the Womens Bay Fire Hall last year. With contingencies
and change orders for rotten siding, the recommended not to
exceed amount was $40,000.
