FY2008-11 Engine 11 LeaseKODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. FY2008 -11
WHEREAS, Kodiak Island Borough Code 18.40.020 Negotiated leases requires approval by the
Assembly of specific leases; and
WHEREAS, two quotes were obtained for heated storage unit from Bruce McNeil located 2147
Three Sisters Way and Ralph Bors located at 3751 Rezanof Dr. The lowest bidder was Mr.
Bors; and
WHEREAS, the charge of $1,000 per month has been discussed and approved by the Fire
Protection Area No. 1 Board Members at their October 16, 2007 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the term for the lease is one year and may be extended for additional six months
on a month -to -month basis; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that the Borough Manager is hereby authorized to sign the lease on behalf of the
Assembly.
