2003-20A Amending Title for Resolution No. 2003-20AMENDING THE TITLE OF RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -20
FROM -- ESTABLISHING FEES OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004
TO -- ESTABLISHING FEES OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
WHEREAS, per Kodiak Island Borough Code section 03.04.065 not less than on the beginning
of every calendar year, the finance director shall prepare a list of all fees for services charged by
the various departments of borough government; and
WHEREAS, the list shall be submitted to the departments involved for comments concerning
the fees and a recommendation as to whether or not the fee or fees should be raised, lowered,
or remain the same; and
WHEREAS, the finance director shall submit a report of his findings, including the department
comments and recommendations, to the manager for presentation to the assembly; and
WHEREAS, the assembly may, by resolution, raise or lower any fee on the submitted list; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Code does not require that the Kodiak Island Borough fee
schedule be adopted on a fiscal year basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
that the title of Resolution No. 2003 -20 is hereby amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that the Kodiak Island Borough fee schedule shall remain in effect in its entirety until
amended by resolution of the assembly.
