A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
FISCAL YEARS 2004 THROUGH 2008 AND ESTABLISHING THE BOROUGH'S
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak
Island Borough for fiscal years 2004 through 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed
and made a recommendation for projects to be included in the fiscal year 2004 Capital
Improvement Program at its September 25, 2002 meeting, in accordance with Kodiak
Island Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including its priorities, during it's meeting on January 16, 2003;
WHEREAS, the Assembly and Borough administration reviewed the attached
comprehensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP) list for the Kodiak Island Borough;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough ' s local Capital Improvement Program (CIP),
priorities for fiscal years 2004 through 2008 are as follows:
1. Paint Main School
2. Middle & High School Roof Repairs (per Annum)
3. Borough Chambers Communication Upgrade - Study and Design
4. Paint Port Lions School
5. High School Parking Lot - Overlay of High Traffic Areas
6. Mill Bay Beach Access and Recreation Upgrade

8. BMX Bike Concrete Skateboard Park
