A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
FISCAL YEARS 2004 THROUGH 2008 AND
ESTABLISHING A FEDERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak Island
Borough for fiscal years 2004 through 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission have reviewed and
made a recommendation for projects to be included in the fiscal year 2004 Capital
Improvement Program at its September 25, 2002 meeting, in accordance with Kodiak Island
Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including its priorities, during their regular meeting of January 16, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly and Borough administration reviewed the attached comprehensive
Capital Improvement Program (CIP) list for the Kodiak Island Borough;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
THAT:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough's Federal Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
priorities for fiscal years 2004 through 2008 are as follows:
1. State Airport Terminal Facility
2. Kodiak Fisheries Campus Phase III Design & Site Work
3. Borough Facilities Asbestos Abatement & Upgrades
4. Squad Vehicle and Tanker Truck for Bayside Fire
5. Womens Bay Fire Truck and Tanker

Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough administration is hereby instructed to advise
Congress and appropriate agencies of the United States Federal Government of
