Nielsen, ' Mc, Borough Clerk KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -03 Introduced by: Requested by: Drafted by: Introduced: Adopted: ., • • D A A 11 : • ESTABLISHING CITIZENS BOARD OF EQUALIZATION DATES FOR THE YEAR 2002 ADOPTED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THIS SEVENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2002 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH 2 Manager Carlson Assessor Mould Borough Clerk 02/07/2002 02/07/2002 OUGH WHEREAS, part of the public notification process is the setting of dates, by resolution, of Board of Equalization hearings for appeals; and WHEREAS, the date taxes become delinquent shall be fixed by resolution; and WHEREAS, the actions are required by Alaska Statutes 29.45.240; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT: Section 1: The Board of Equalization hearing of appeals from the 2002 assessed valuations of real and personal property within the Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska will begin Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. in the assembly chambers of the Kodiak Island Borough, 710 Mill Bay Road, Kodiak, Alaska and will continue from day to day as established by the Board of Equalization and the borough clerk until all properly filed appeals have been heard. Section 2: The date taxes become delinquent is October 15, 2002, unless the taxpayer elects to pay the taxes in two equal installments, then the first half is delinquent on August 15, 2002 and the second half is delinquent on November 15, 2002.
