THROUGH 2007 AND ESTABLISHING THE BOROUGH'S
WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak
Island Borough for fiscal years 2003 through 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended approval of the prioritized fiscal year 2003 capital improvement priorities at
its meeting, in accordance with Kodiak Island Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including the priorities, during it's meeting on December 20, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough' s capital improvement project priorities for fiscal
years 2003 through 2007 are as follows:
1. Pave Puffin Way (Strip vs. Full Project)
2. Main & East School Pedestrian Passes
3. Pave Sharatin Road (Strip vs. Full Project)
4. Pave Lilly Drive (Strip vs. Full Project)
5. Pave Antone Way (Strip vs. Full Project)
6. All Purpose Football- Soccer Practice Field
7. Middle School Access Road Paving
8. Middle & High School Roof Repairs (per annum)
9. KIB -KIBSD Parking Lot Addition
10. Island Lake Park Dock & Parking
11. BMX Bike Street Course
