A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
FISCAL YEARS 2003 THROUGH 2007 AND
ESTABLISHING A STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak
Island Borough for fiscal years 2003 through 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended approval of the prioritized fiscal year 2003 capital improvement priorities
at its meeting, in accordance with Kodiak Island Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including the priorities, during it's meeting on December 20, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough's capital improvement project priorities for
fiscal years 2003 through 2007 are as follows:
1. School Facility Earthquake Resistance Evaluation
2. Kodiak High School Asbestos Abatement
3. Kodiak Fisheries Campus Phase 111 Design & Site Work
4. Central Solid Waste Transfer Stations Planning & Design
5. High School Siding Replacement
6. Monashka Bay Boat Ramp & Parking
7. School Lighting Upgrades
8. Pasagshak Boat Ramp & Parking
9. Peterson School Parking Lot Paving
10. Bayside Fire Squad Vehicle
11. High School Parking Lot Repaving
12. Perenosa Drive Construction (600')

Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough administration is hereby instructed to advise
