A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
FISCAL YEARS 2003 THROUGH 2007 AND

WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak
Island Borough for fiscal years 2003 through 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended approval of the prioritized fiscal year 2003 capital improvement priorities
at its meeting, in accordance with Kodiak Island Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including the priorities, during its meeting on December 20, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The Kodiak Island Borough's capital improvement project priorities for
fiscal years 2003 through 2007 are as follows:
1. State Airport Terminal Facility
2. Kodiak Career Technology Addition
3. Kodiak Fisheries Campus Phase III Design & Site Work
4. Borough Facilities Asbestos Abatement & Upgrades
5. Squad Vehicle and Tanker Truck for Bayside Fire
6. Maritime Museum Feasibility Study
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough administration is hereby instructed to advise
Congress and appropriate agencies of the United States Federal
Government of the Capital Improvement Program and priorities adopted
by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly.
