A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ESTABLISHING CITIZENS BOARD OF EQUALIZATION DATES
FOR THE YEAR 2001
WHEREAS, part of the public notification process is the setting of dates, by
resolution, of equalization hearings for appeals; and
WHEREAS, the date taxes become delinquent shall be fixed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the actions are required by Alaska Statutes 29.45.240;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 2: The date taxes become delinquent is October 15, 2001.
Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska
Equalization hearing of appeals from the 2001 assessed valuations of real
and personal property within the Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska will begin
Monday, May 21, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. in the assembly chambers of the
Kodiak Island Borough, 710 Mill Bay Road, Kodiak, Alaska and will
continue from day to day as established by the Board of Equalization and
the borough clerk until all properly filed appeals have been heard.
