2000-32 Joint CIP List FY2002A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ESTABLISHING A JOINT KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH /CITY OF KODIAK FISCAL
YEAR 2002 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough maintains a list of needed
capital improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kodiak maintains a list of needed capital
improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly and the Council have developed a merged list of the most
significant and urgent projects to present to the governor and twenty- second Alaska
legislature for funding consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT, in conjunction with the Council of the City of Kodiak, the following
priorities are hereby adopted for fiscal year 2002 capital improvement projects:

1. Resurfacing Rezanof Drive from Mill Bay Road to the Landfill and
from the Coast Guard Base to Womens Bay 2,000,000
2. Monashka Dam Phase II 5,000,000
3. Kodiak School Upgrades 3,000,000
4. St. Herman Harbor Loading Dock 2,500,000
5. Kodiak Career Technology Addition 5,500,000
6. Near Island Trail Design and Construction 200,000
7. North Star Elementary School Addition 2,600,000
8. Gibson Cove Sewer Line 1,500,000
9. Peterson Elementary School Addition 1,500,000
