A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2001 MUNICIPAL CAPITAL
PROJECT MATCHING GRANT (SCHOOL FACILITIES REPAIR AND UPGRADE)
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has established the Municipal Capital Project Matching
Grant Program under Alaska Statutes 37.06; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has made available, under this program, Grant No. 01-
MG -088 for $125,398 for the School Facilities Repair and Upgrade; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has agreed to contribute $53,742 as its share
of this project in the form of Capital Project funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT the Kodiak Island Borough agrees to accept the above referenced
funds for the purpose intended in this resolution, to provide its share of the project
total, and to abide by the terms of the grant agreement for this project.
