2000-12 Selief Estates SaleSection 1: KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -12 Introduced by: Manager Jensen Requested by: Manager Jensen Drafted by: Borough Assessor Introduced: 03/30/2000 Adopted: 03/30/2000 A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A PORTION OF BLOCK 2, SELIEF ESTATES AND ESTABLISHING TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEREAS, Kodiak Island Borough Code 18.30.20 requires the Borough Assembly to set the terms and conditions of sale for the disposition of public lands; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended, and the Borough Assembly has determined, that certain lands are surplus to the Borough's need. WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 14, Block 1, Selief Estates requests the right to purchase a portion of Block 2, Selief Estates for driveway access purposes; and WHEREAS, the portion of land proposed for sale does not impact the remaining property value of Block 2, Selief Estates to any significant degree; and WHEREAS, a determination of the fair market value of the parcel has been completed by the Borough assessor in the amount of $2,500; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT: The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly, in accordance with Title 18 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code, authorizes the Manager or his designee to sell to the owners of Lot 14, Block 1, Selief Estates a portion of Block 2, Selief Estates; which is adjacent to the northern boundary of Lot 14, Block 1, Selief Estates; not to exceed 1,650 square feet in size. Section 2: The sale of this property shall be subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Said parcel has been appraised at fair market value as determined by the Borough assessor and the appraised value of $2,500 cash is the price for the property; 2.
