1999-27 Joint CIP List FY2000A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ESTABLISHING A JOINT KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH /CITY OF KODIAK FISCAL
YEAR 2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough maintains a list of needed
capital improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kodiak maintains a list of needed capital
improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly and the Council have developed a merged list of the most
significant and urgent projects to present to the governor and twenty -first Alaska
legislature for funding consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT, in conjunction with the Council of the City of Kodiak, the following
priorities are hereby adopted for fiscal year 2001 capital improvement projects:
1. Selief Lane Improvements 7,000,000
2. Resurfacing Rezanof Drive from Mill Bay Road to the Landfill and
from the Coast Guard Base to Women's Bay 2,000,000
3. St. Herman Harbor Loading Dock 2,500,000
4. Kodiak School Upgrades 3,000,000
5. Near Island Trail Design and Construction 200,000
6. Kodiak School Career Technical Addition 5,500,000
7. Gibson Cove Sewer Line 1,500,000
8. Monashka Bay Public Boat Launch 2,000,000
9. Spruce Cape Water and Sewer Line Replacement 2,000,000
10. North Star Elementary School Addition 2,600,000
11. Kodiak Air Terminal /Feasibility and Preliminary Engineering
Design of Air Terminal 500,000
