KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 99 -17
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2000 MUNICIPAL CAPITAL
PROJECT MATCHING GRANT (SCHOOL FACILITIES AND REPAIR AND UPGRADE)
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has established the Municipal Capital Project Matching
Grant Program under Alaska Statutes 37.06; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has made available, under this program, Grant No.
00/597 -1 -001 for the $128,770 for the School Facilities Repair and Upgrade; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has agreed to contribute $54,330 as its share
of this project. This share will be contributed in the form of Capital Project funds; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH agrees to accept the above referenced funds for the purpose intended in
this resolution, will provide its share of the project total, and agrees to abide by the
terms of the grant agreement for this project.
