RESOLUTION NO. 99 -13
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
APPROVING THE KODIAK ISLAND AREA OVERALL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM ANNUAL REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce has entered into a contract with the
Kodiak Island Borough and the City of Kodiak to provide economic development
planning and leadership for the communities of Kodiak Island; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce is the recognized economic
development organization on Kodiak Island; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce has established an Economic
Development Committee to oversee the Kodiak Island Overall Economic Development
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Committee has reviewed the economic
development activities undertaken in fiscal year 1999 and set new economic
development goals for fiscal year 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Committee has outlined those
accomplishments and goals in its Kodiak Island Area Overall Economic Development
Program Annual Report for fiscal year 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH that the Kodiak Island Area Overall Economic Development Program Annual
Report for fiscal year 1999 be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH that the Kodiak Island Overall Economic Development Program
Annual Report for fiscal year 1999 will be submitted to the U.S. Economic
Development Administration for review and approval.
