1999-10C Amending Fee Schedule FY2000KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 99 -10C Introduced by: Manager Requested by: Finance Director Introduced: 05/16/2000 Adopted: 05/16/2000 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 99 -10 ESTABLISHING FEES OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000 WHEREAS, prudent financial management dictates that an organization review its fees on at least an annual basis; and WHEREAS, it is recognized that if a service or program benefits only a select individual or group of individuals, those individuals or group of individuals should pay for the service; and WHEREAS, the U. S. Coast Guard has notified the Borough manager that they have large quantities of asbestos waste for disposal; and WHEREAS, this fee amendment allows the Borough manager to negotiate the fees for disposal of asbestos waste over 10 cubic yards; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH that Section 1: Resolution No.99 -10 is hereby amended to reflect that the price for disposal of asbestos waste exceeding 10 cubic yards be negotiated with the Borough manager. Commercial wastes and mixed construction debris $70.00 per ton, $10.00 minimum 3. Garbage truck of borough collection contractor per contract United States Coast Guard contractor $95.00 per ton 4.
