A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ESTABLISHING A JOINT KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH /CITY OF KODIAK FISCAL
YEAR 2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough maintains a list of needed
capital improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kodiak maintains a list of needed capital
improvement priorities; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly and the Council have developed a merged list of the most
significant and urgent projects to present to the governor and twenty -first Alaska
legislature for funding consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT, in conjunction with the Council of the City of Kodiak, the following
priorities are hereby adopted for fiscal year 2000 capital improvement projects:

3. Karluk Landfill and Sewer Upgrades 400,000
4. Selief Lane Improvements 7,000,000
5. Monashka Bay Water & Sewer System Design 1,100,000
6. Fire Department Squad Vehicle 160,000
7. Bells Flats Road Improvements 2,000,000
8. Quint Fire Apparatus 364,000
9. Anton Larsen Bay Ramps and Road Extension 2,000,000
10. Gibson Cove Sewer Line 1,500,000
11. Kodiak High School Career Technology Addition 5,500,000
