A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2000
THROUGH 2004 AND ESTABLISHING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, a five -year Capital Improvement Program has been prepared by the Kodiak
Island Borough for fiscal years 2000 through 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended approval of the prioritized fiscal year 2000 capital improvement priorities
at its meeting, in accordance with Kodiak Island Borough Code 2.40.030E; and
WHEREAS, the Assembly held a public meeting on the five -year Capital Improvement
Program, including the priorities, during its meeting on September 22, 1998;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The document entitled "Kodiak Island Borough Capital Improvement
Program" for the years July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2004 is hereby
adopted by reference.
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough's capital project priorities for fiscal year 2000
are as follows:
1. Alaska Department of Fish and
Game Office Building $3,850,000
2. Karluk Landfill and Sewer Upgrades 400,000
3. Monashka Bay Water & Sewer System
Design 1,100,000
4. Bells Flats Road Improvements 2,000,000
