A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 1999
MUNICIPAL CAPITAL PROJECT MATCHING GRANT
(PETERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ADDITION)
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has established the Municipal Capital Project Matching
Grant Program under Alaska Statutes 37.06.010; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has made available, under this program, Grant No.
99/597 -1 -001 for $ 130,000 for the Peterson Elementary School Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has agreed to contribute $55,714 as its share
of this project. This share will be contributed in the form of Capital Project Funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH agrees to accept the above referenced funds for the purpose intended in
this resolution, will provide its share of the project total, and agrees to abide by the
terms of the grant agreement for this project.
