A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 1998
MUNICIPAL CAPITAL PROJECT MATCHING GRANT
(KODIAK ISLAND HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION)
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has established the Municipal Capital Project
Matching Grant Program under Alaska Statutes 37.06; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has made available, under this program, Grant No.
98/597 -3 -002 for $61,505 for Kodiak Island Hospital construction; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has agreed to contribute $26,359 as its share
of this project. This share will be contributed in the form of Capital Project Funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH agrees to accept the above referenced funds for the purpose intended in
this resolution, will provide its share of the project total, and agrees to abide by the
terms of the grant agreement for this project.
