1999-09 Re-establishing Boards, Committees, Commissions - Chapter 2.39KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ORDINANCE NO. 99 -09 Introduced by: Assembly Requested by: Borough Clerk Drafted by: Borough Clerk Introduced: 10/21/99 Public Hearing: 11/02/99 Adopted: 11/02/99 AN ORDINANCE RE- ESTABLISHING ALL BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS AS ESTABLISHED IN KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 2.39 BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS WHEREAS, all boards, committees, and commissions established under Chapter 2 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances shall terminate by every three years, unless affirmatively re- established or continued by the assembly; and WHEREAS, the assembly shall hold a public hearing to receive testimony on the need for the continued existence of the board or commission from the general public and members of the board or commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT: Section 1: This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
