TITLE 2 ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL
CHAPTER 2.45 ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING REVIEW BOARD
TO REFLECT CHANGES TO RESPONSIBILITIES
WHEREAS, the Architectural /Engineering Review Board has recommended changes
to the responsibilities of the Board; and
WHEREAS, it is the Board's wishes to be apprised of changes in the building; and
WHEREAS, it is the Board's wishes that communication with the assembly be
strengthened;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is a general and permanent nature and shall become a part
of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Section 2: Title 2 Administration and Personnel Chapter 2.45
Architectural /Engineering Review Board of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows:

2.45.040 Responsibilities. The board is empowered to:
A. Review all architectural and engineering proposals and design drawings for borough
owned buildings and public funded projects, evaluate and propose improve/ha/its to sp ectfii do is

B. [Consider] Evaluate all comments, suggestions, and recommendations from the building

C. Hold a public meeting before presenting the final [proposal] recommendation to the
assembly; and
D. Forward final recommendations [ass] to the assembly [ eted

E. Receive notice of all change orderst ark executed on building projects. The board
shall review all changes to borough -owned buildings and public funded projects for the purpose
of possible; inclusion in future building projects.
F. Evaluate completed projects, prior to the one -y
