17.21 B -- BUSINESS DISTRICT TO PERMIT SINGLE FAMILY AND TWO FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL UNITS IN THE ZONING DISTRICT UNDER SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.21 B -- Business District of the Kodiak Island Borough Code
of Ordinances contains no provisions for allowing two family residential
dwelling units; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.21 B -- Business District does contain provisions for both
single family and multiple family residential dwelling units; and
WHEREAS, this inconsistency has been rectified in Chapter 17.25 RB-- Retaii
Business District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:

the business zoning district:

This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature and shall become a
part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
Chapter 17.21, B -- Business District of the Kodiak Island Borough Code
of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows:

17.21.030 Conditional uses. The following land uses and activities may be allowed
by obtaining a conditional use permit in accordance with the provisions of chapter
17.67:
17.21.030 D. Single family residences if locatcd within a structure
with all other subsections relettered appropriately.
