ORDINANCE NO. 94 -10K
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94 -10 FISCAL YEAR 1995 BUDGET
(ALASKA COASTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM GRANT)
WHEREAS, the state of Alaska Department of Community and Regional Affairs has
appropriated funds to the Kodiak Island Borough for fiscal year 1995, and the Kodiak
Island Borough is now in receipt of a Grant Amendment #1 under Encumbrance
Number 2158014; and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 1995 budget was based on estimates available as of the
date of the Kodiak Island Borough's annual budget review; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reflect the amended amount of the grant in the
current budget for the Coastal Management Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough assembly accepts the grant amounts as set
forth in the Agreement and directs staff to complete the necessary forms and
accounting to manage such funds.
Section 3: The Fiscal Year 1995 Budget is hereby amended by decreasing the
Contractual line item by $8,500, add Equipment line item and place $3,000 in that
line item. The $3,000 will be used to assist the Borough with the purchase of a
computer and software program.
