ORDINANCE NO. 94 - 10H
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 94 -10 FISCAL YEAR 1995 BUDGET
(DAY CARE ASSISTANCE GRANT)
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Department of Community and Regional Affairs has
appropriated funds to the Kodiak Island Borough for Fiscal Year 1995, and the
Kodiak Island Borough is now in receipt of Grant Agreement under Encumbrance
Number 2142916; and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 1995 budget was based on estimates available as of
the date of the Kodiak Island Borough's annual budget review; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reflect additional funds appropriated by the
State of Alaska that are available for certain expenses in the Day Care Program
budget under Amendment #3 dated April 5, 1995. Such funds are designated for
Child Care Development Block Grant subsidy and administrative funding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This Ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly accepts the grant amounts as
set forth in the Agreement and directs staff to complete the
necessary forms and accounting to manage such funds.
Section 3: The fiscal year 1995 budget is hereby amended by increasing the Day
Care Assistance Block Grant Subsidy Grant by $11,000 and
Administrative Subsidy by $1,044 and increasing the expenditure line
items accordingly in the Block Grant program by $12,044.
