AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 94 -10
FISCAL YEAR 1995 BUDGET
(DAY CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT)
WHEREAS, The State of Alaska Department of Community and Regional affairs has
appropriated funds to the Kodiak Island Borough for fiscal year 1995,
and the Kodiak Island Borough is now in receipt of a grant amendment
under Encumbrance Number 2142916; and
WHEREAS, the fiscal year 1995 budget was based on estimates available as of the
date of the Kodiak Island Borough's annual budget review; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reflect additional funds appropriated by the State
of Alaska which are available for travel expenses in the Day Care
Assistance Program budget under Amendment #2 dated February 6,
1995. Such funds are designated for the mandatory administrator
conference travel and related expenses for the local administrator;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2: The Kodiak Island Borough assembly accepts the grant amounts as set
forth in the Agreement and directs staff to complete the necessary
forms and accounting to manage such funds.
The fiscal year 1995 budget is hereby amended by increasing the Day
Care Assistance Program travel subsidy and increasing the travel line
item expenditure accordingly in the amount of $816.
